Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable South African law.
Important Customer Notice
Custom printing, embroidery, branding and specially ordered garments may be produced specifically according to your instructions. Customers are responsible for checking and approving artwork, spelling, sizing, colours, quantities, garment specifications and other order details before production begins.

05. Product Information & Images
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications and images displayed on our website are accurate.
However, colours displayed on computer monitors, mobile phones and other devices may differ from the physical product because of screen settings, lighting, photography and manufacturing variations.
Minor variations may also occur between manufacturing batches, including variations in:
- Colour shade
- Fabric texture
- Garment dimensions
- Weight
- Stitching
- Trim
- Finish
Any material variation that makes goods defective or materially different from what was lawfully agreed remains subject to any rights available under applicable law.
06. Sizing
Customers are responsible for reviewing applicable size charts and confirming the required garment sizes before placing or approving an order.
Garment measurements may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances and sizing may differ between brands, ranges and garment styles.
Where sizing is important, customers should request relevant measurements or samples before placing a large customised order.
07. Quotations
Quotations are based on the specifications, quantities and information supplied by the customer at the time the quotation is prepared.
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the quotation, a quotation does not guarantee stock availability until the order has been accepted and any required payment has been received.
We may revise a quotation where:
- The required quantity changes
- The garment or product changes
- The artwork changes
- The printing or branding method changes
- The number or size of print positions changes
- Supplier pricing changes before acceptance
- Material information supplied by the customer was inaccurate
08. Orders
An enquiry or request for quotation does not by itself constitute a confirmed order.
An order may become confirmed once the applicable order requirements have been satisfied, which may include:
- Acceptance of our quotation
- Confirmation of quantities and sizes
- Confirmation of colours and products
- Receipt of suitable artwork
- Artwork approval
- Receipt of any required deposit or payment
- Written confirmation from T-Shirts South Africa
We reserve the right to decline an order where permitted by law, including where stock is unavailable, supplied artwork is unlawful, payment cannot be verified, or we are unable reasonably to fulfil the order.
09. Stock Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Stock displayed or discussed before order confirmation may be sold or allocated before payment or final confirmation is received.
Where an ordered product becomes unavailable, we may discuss an appropriate substitute, revised production plan or other lawful solution with the customer.
We will not substitute a materially different product without the customer's agreement where that agreement is legally required.
10. Pricing
Prices may change without notice until an order is confirmed, subject to applicable law and the terms of any valid quotation.
The applicable quotation or invoice should identify the price payable for the agreed products or services.
Where an obvious pricing, typographical or calculation error is identified before performance, we may notify the customer and correct the error in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in this clause allows us to charge a customer an amount that has not lawfully been agreed.
11. Payment
Payment must be made using an approved payment method communicated by T-Shirts South Africa.
Depending on the order, we may require:
- Full payment in advance
- A deposit before production
- Payment of the balance before collection
- Payment according to approved account terms
Products remain subject to applicable ownership and payment terms until amounts lawfully due have been paid.
Proof of payment may be required, but sending proof of payment does not necessarily mean that funds have cleared into our account.
12. Custom Printing & Branding
Customised products may include printing, embroidery, sublimation, branding, alterations or other work performed according to customer instructions.
Before production begins, customers must check the information supplied to us, including:
- Artwork
- Logos
- Spelling
- Names
- Telephone numbers
- Website addresses
- Colours
- Print dimensions
- Print placement
- Garment colour
- Garment style
- Sizes
- Quantities
13. Artwork Approval
Where we provide an artwork proof, mock-up or visual representation, it is the customer's responsibility to inspect it carefully before approval.
Please carefully check spelling, contact details, logo position, design elements, size, orientation and other relevant specifications before approving the artwork.
Once artwork has been approved and production has commenced, changes may result in additional charges and production delays.
An approval does not remove any statutory rights relating to defective goods or goods that materially fail to conform to the lawfully agreed specifications.
14. Colours & Colour Matching
Colours displayed digitally may differ from physical colours because screens, printers, inks, fabrics, lighting and manufacturing processes reproduce colours differently.
Unless a specific colour-matching service has expressly been agreed, digital artwork displayed on a screen should not be treated as a guarantee of an exact physical colour match.
Where precise corporate colour matching is required, this must be discussed with us before production.
15. Customer-Supplied Artwork
Customers who provide artwork, trademarks, logos, photographs, graphics, wording or other content confirm that they have the necessary rights, licences, permissions or authority to use and reproduce that material for the requested order.
The customer remains responsible for obtaining any required permission from the relevant copyright owner, trademark owner, photographer, designer or other rights holder.
We may refuse to reproduce material where we reasonably believe doing so would be unlawful or infringe the rights of another person.
16. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, website content including text, graphics, layout, branding, photographs, code and original design elements is owned by or licensed to T-Shirts South Africa and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.
You may not reproduce, republish, sell, scrape, distribute or commercially exploit protected website content without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.
Customer-owned artwork remains subject to the customer's applicable intellectual property rights.
17. Production Times
Any production time communicated to a customer should be treated in the context of the particular quotation or order.
Production generally begins only once all applicable requirements have been completed, which may include:
- Payment or deposit
- Final artwork
- Artwork approval
- Size confirmation
- Product confirmation
- Stock availability
Production may be delayed where information, approval, artwork or payment is outstanding.
Where a specific completion date is essential, the customer should obtain written confirmation before placing the order.
18. Collection & Courier Arrangements
Customers may collect completed orders from:
4 Brahman Ave
Longmeadow Business Estate
Edenvale, Gauteng, 1610
South Africa
Alternatively, customers may arrange their own courier service to collect an order.
Where a customer appoints their own courier, the courier acts as the customer's chosen collection or transportation service, subject to applicable law.
Customers should ensure that their courier has the correct collection details and order reference before collection.
Nothing in this section limits any legal responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. Inspection on Collection
Where reasonably possible, customers should inspect orders promptly on collection or receipt and notify us as soon as reasonably practicable if there is an apparent problem.
Customers should check:
- Product type
- Quantity
- Sizes
- Colours
- Printing or branding
- Visible damage
Prompt notification assists us in investigating an issue, but nothing in this section removes or reduces a consumer right that applies for a longer statutory period.
20. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are dealt with in accordance with applicable South African consumer law, including the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.
The right to return an item depends on the circumstances and the legal basis for the return.
Consumers may have statutory rights in circumstances including, where applicable:
- Defective goods
- Unsafe goods
- Goods that do not reasonably conform to agreed specifications
- Incorrect goods supplied
- Certain transactions covered by statutory cooling-off rights
- Other circumstances recognised by applicable legislation
21. Customised & Special-Order Products
Customised, printed, embroidered, branded or specially ordered goods are often manufactured, altered or sourced specifically for a particular customer.
Accordingly, a request to cancel or return customised goods merely because the customer changed their mind may be treated differently from a claim involving defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or non-conforming goods.
Where South African law gives a consumer a right to return, replacement, repair or refund, that statutory right will apply notwithstanding that the item was customised.
22. Defective Goods
Our products remain subject to the statutory quality protections applicable under South African law.
If you believe goods are defective, please contact us promptly and provide:
- Your name or company name
- Invoice or order reference
- Description of the problem
- Photographs where appropriate
- Quantity affected
- Any other information reasonably required to investigate
Claims will be assessed according to the circumstances and applicable law.
23. Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel an order should contact us as soon as possible.
The consequences of cancellation depend on factors including whether:
- Stock has already been ordered
- Garments have been specially sourced
- Artwork preparation has begun
- Printing plates or screens have been prepared
- Embroidery setup has been completed
- Production has commenced
- Goods have already been customised
Any cancellation fee or amount retained must comply with applicable South African law, including applicable Consumer Protection Act requirements.
24. Samples
Where a sample is supplied or approved before a production run, the sample may be used as a reference for the relevant order.
Reasonable manufacturing differences may nevertheless occur between a sample and bulk-production garments, provided that the supplied products remain compliant with applicable legal and agreed quality requirements.
25. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information reasonably required to process their order.
This may include:
- Correct contact details
- Correct company details
- Correct quantities
- Correct sizes

32. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, a customer may be responsible for loss suffered as a direct result of the customer's unlawful conduct, fraud, infringement of third-party intellectual property rights or unauthorised instructions supplied to us.

These Terms and any transaction to which they apply are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to any mandatory consumer jurisdiction or other statutory rights that apply.
38. Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact T-Shirts South Africa first if a dispute arises so that the matter can be investigated and an appropriate resolution considered.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from approaching a regulator, consumer body, ombud, tribunal or court where they are legally entitled to do so.
39. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision may be treated as severable to the extent legally appropriate, while the remaining provisions continue to operate where possible.
40. No Waiver
A failure or delay by either party to exercise a legal right does not necessarily constitute a waiver of that right.
41. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our business, website, products, operational procedures or applicable law.
The latest version will be published on this website together with the applicable last-updated date.
